Introducing Zoho Learn: Your comprehensive knowledge and learning management platform

Knowledge is an important asset to all businesses, both new and established. All organizations have access to an extensive pool of knowledge—whether it is documented, explicit knowledge that can easily be recorded or unwritten, tacit information that is acquired through employee experience. Establishing the right strategy for knowledge management creates value for the knowledge that already exists within the organization, enabling employees to make informed decisions faster and stimulate company growth. It supports the creation, distribution, utilization, and application of information and encourages a continuous learning culture within the organization.

Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, many organizations have been forced to make a sudden shift to remote or hybrid work. It can be quite challenging to facilitate knowledge sharing and sustain workplace learning in a remote work environment, so effective knowledge and learning management is more essential than ever to help employees perform their everyday tasks and incorporate on-the-job training.

What is Zoho Learn?

Taking your knowledge and learning management needs into consideration, we've built Zoho Learn with a vision to offer a tool that goes beyond static documentation and provides a dynamic platform to handle all types of knowledge. Zoho Learn is an all-in-one knowledge and learning management solution to create, manage, and share organizational knowledge, curate training programs, evaluate the understanding of your learners, and analyze their progress with training materials.

After many months of planning and development, we're thrilled to announce the official launch of Zoho Learn. We've worked hard to build a tool that adapts to the unique needs of each organization and creates engaging learning experiences on a single platform.

Here are some ways Zoho Learn can help you:

Organize knowledge effectively

Build your knowledge base with Zoho Learn's simple content hierarchy. Zoho Learn's manuals give structure to your organization's knowledge base to improve findability and ease of access. Manuals come in handy when you want to organize information that belongs to a common topic. Whether you're working with SOPs, technical documents, or handbooks, manuals let you organize everything in a single place.

Group manuals belonging to the same department or line of work into a single location with spaces. Spaces help you build a common digital work area for teams to come together and share knowledge.

Capture knowledge in Learn in the form of articles. Create related articles inside a manual and further organize them into chapters. For example, you could have a "Development" space which contains manuals on numerous related topics, such as design, coding standards, and technical specifications. The design manual may contain articles for different topics like web UI elements, animations, or navigation. You can further organize the articles on web UI elements into chapters on input controls, navigation components, informational components, containers, etc.

Share knowledge with your peers

Promote a culture of knowledge sharing to reuse existing expertise and eliminate redundant effort. Share knowledge with flexible permissions while keeping full control over your content. Grant different levels of access permissions depending on what you're sharing and the needs of the users. Securely share your manuals outside your organization with an external sharing URL.

Make training a breeze

Use Zoho Learn to cater to all the training needs of your organization—whether employee onboarding, compliance training, or on-demand training. Build simple and highly interactive courses with the drag and drop course builder. Include a variety of lesson types like text, image, audio, video, document, or a combination of each to change how the information is presented and boost learner engagement.

Reinforce training with assessments

Quizzes and assignments are a great way to evaluate learners and help them remember what they've learned. Build quizzes with a wide range of question and answer types and grade your learners. Create assignments and evaluate learner submissions. Set guidelines and customize your quizzes and assignments based on the type of assessment you want to conduct.

Analyze training performance

Transform course analytics data into actionable insights to make data-driven decisions. Track the performance and completion rates of individual learners to identify their overall involvement in the courses. Analyze learning activity and engagement in your courses to determine areas for improvement in your learning materials. Generate reports on the number of articles active in your knowledge base and the number of users contributing to the knowledge of your organization.

Promote collaborative learning

Peer-to-peer learning facilitates exposure to diverse perspectives. Learn users can share ideas and feedback on the articles in their organization to participate in conversations that can lead to deeper insights. Allow learners to share their expertise and contribute to a topic with lesson-based discussion boards. Receive ratings and reviews for articles and courses to make improvements to your content.
